Your child’s school has partnered with The Center for Oral Health's Early Smiles California program to provide dental screenings to your child at no charge to you! The service will be performed by a licensed dental hygienist. The hygienist will screen your child’s teeth, provide a fluoride varnish treatment to help prevent tooth decay, and navigate your child to dental care (if needed). If your child is eligible, the hygienist will complete the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment form and submit the form to your child’s school. You will receive your child’s screening results. The California Youth Empowerment Network, Trinity Together and HRN are working with a group of Trinity County transitional age youth called Trinity Youth Action Team. The main goal of this youth group is to come up with strategies to reduce anxiety by providing education and resources to staff and their peers. We are trying to survey as many Trinity County transitional age youth, 14-26, as possible so we can incorporate it into our action plan and to help reduce anxiety amongst Trinity County Youth. The Trinity High School Players Present: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief! This week, from April 25-28, come on down to the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center to watch our talented students put on this incredible production that they have been working hard on all year with Director Monica Young-Zook! We are very excited to announce that she will be teaching Culinary Arts during the next school year! Congratulations Ashlie! Kayla Tofte is a new staff member for the 24-25 school year! Kayla will be joining us in the AG Science department! Welcome Kayla! We look forward to seeing the amazing work these ladies will do in the near future!

There has been a bear sighting in the Ag area by the barn. Local fish and game as well as authorities has been contacted. Be cautious and don't travel alone. We have bear spray for anyone that needs to be back in that area. We will provide communication if further information becomes available.
