Our first quarterly Literary Night celebration, entitled The Renaissance: Hearts and Minds, hosted by our new library staff on Wednesday, November 29th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Trinity High School Library. We will have a full complement of hot and cold hors’ d'oeuvres, a couple of activities to entertain our guests, and a couple of guest speakers. The first will be our own Richard Ferguson, who will be speaking on behalf of the History department about the era of the Renaissance that the students have just finished studying, and from which they’ve crafted these poems. The schedule will next feature a presentation by our own Kyle Hailey, Art teacher, about the arts of the Renaissance, and their deep intelligence and innovation. We will then be hearing from some of our students, who've written a few poems to enjoy and whom we’d like to showcase during the celebration. We hope that you can join us for this night of revelry, of thanksgiving for these wonderful students and their excellent work, and the way in which Trinity High School can find newer ways of celebrating their talents.
