This week, from April 25-28, come on down to the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center to watch our talented students put on this incredible production that they have been working hard on all year with Director Monica Young-Zook! Shows begin at 7pm all weekend with Matinees at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $8.

There has been a bear sighting in the Ag area by the barn. Local fish and game as well as authorities has been contacted. Be cautious and don't travel alone. We have bear spray for anyone that needs to be back in that area. We will provide communication if further information becomes available.

The Trinity FBLA chapter attended the California FBLA State Conference this last weekend in Anaheim. Six students competed in different events such as Hospitality, Marketing, and Public Speaking. One student, Senior Allie Johnston, placed 10th in Public Speaking! Congratulations Allie! The students then went to Disneyland as a reward for all of their hard work this year and for raising the funds to go. If any THS students are interested in joining FBLA for the 2024-2025 school year, please talk to Mrs. Cotten! (The State Conference is in Anaheim again the next 2 school years!)
The Annie Jr. play put on by our students is happening this Friday and Saturday, April 19th & 20th at 7pm at the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center. Congratulations to Tori Geist & Caitlin Montgomery, our Girls Basketball Co-Head Coaches.
Not only were they voted Coaches of the Year by the Shasta Cascade League. The dynamic duo was also just announced as the Northern Section CIF Girls Basketball Coaches of the Year!
This makes the pair the first Trinity coaches to receive this honor in the 32-year history of the award, dating back to 1992.
This award is voted on by members of the Chico Enterprise-Record, Red Bluff Daily News, Redding Record Searchlight, Marysville Appeal-Democrat, & the national sports publication MaxPreps.

Congratulations to our very own Keith Sprague!! The California Continuation Education Association Plus, State Award Committee has selected Keith to be honored as a 2024 CCEA Plus Region 4 Teacher of the Year!!!! This award is given annually to individuals who have gone above and beyond in their leadership with staff, dedication to student success, and involvement in their community. Thank you for all you do for our schools and our District Keith!

Many scholarship deadlines are approaching including the Wintu Education and Cultural Council, Humboldt Lodge #79, Tyson Wacker Memorial, Highland Art Foundation, Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference, JR Morris Agriculture, and the Ed Scott for top scholars. Applications are available in the library and the THS website.

Good morning THS Families!
We will be hosting a field trip to tour the Shasta-Trinity ROP Campus in Redding on Thursday , April 11th from 8:45 - 12:00 pm. Students will receive a presentation regarding this amazing program and its offering of hands-on learning experiences, so this is a field trip for any student who is interested in potentially attending the program for the 2024-2025 school year. This program is open to Juniors and Seniors only.
If you would like to know more about ROP and what this program offers our students, please see this website: https://www.strop.org/. Students who participate in this program are still considered THS students, but complete the program at ROP and take their other core classes via Independent Study. They are still eligible to participate in sports and extracurricular activities as offered by THS.
Students must turn in a field trip form, which is available in the front office and turn in by Wednesday, 4/10 end of day (3:35 pm) to attend the trip.

The THS Culinary Arts Class fed their fellow students today with 42 homemade pizzas. The crust was made from sourdough starter they made in class from yeast gathered off of wild grapes. The salad at the salad bar today featured salad greens and radishes grown by students in the District greenhouse.
Hello TAUSD! Tomorrow, March 29th there will be no school (unused emergency day). Spring break is April 1-5. We hope you all have an amazing break with your families!
